I am sure you are well aware, but the Sephora VIB Rouge sale kicked off yesterday. And you are probably FLOODED with “Sephora VIB Recommendations” posts and videos. So I thought I would throw my two cents into the mix. 🙂 This isn’t a “wish list” or a “I hear everyone talking about…” kind of recommendations post. These are all products I currently own, love, and use on a weekly basis!
Honestly, that’s the biggest reason I decided to share my thoughts a little late to the party — these are all top favorites that I would repurchase from Sephora or Ulta in a heartbeat if anything ever happened to the ones I currently own.
Top 10 Sephora Recommendations
Real quick: before you even think about shopping at Sephora (or Ulta, or anywhere) please let me remind you to shop through Ebates! I’ve done an in-depth post explaining how the site works that you can read HERE, but basically it’s a way to get an even bigger discount on your purchase on top of the VIB sale. Typically Sephora has a 4% cashback, but some days it will randomly be double that, so it’s definitely worth it to sign up and use! Especially if you are a frequent online shopper — but they’re starting to roll out some stores where you can earn cashback for shopping in store! Freakin’ awesome, right?!
1 | Urban Decay Foundations
Retail: $40Â >>>Â Sale Price: $32
Either the Naked Skin foundation or the All Nighter one, both are great just depends on the coverage you want. I’ve gone through two bottles of the Naked skin and repurchased a third yesterday — I love this stuff that much. It looks very natural on the skin, yet it also provides a decent amount of coverage with a little building. The All Nighter foundation is FULL. COVERAGE. No joke, it’s serious business!

2 | Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipstick in Melted Chihuahua
Retail: $21Â >>>Â Sale Price: $16.80
I loved this lipstick from the moment I first got it. This is THE perfect soft mauve-nude. This one usually sits in my purse so that I don’t have to worry if I forget to grab a lipstick of the day before leaving. Melted Chihuahua matches anything! Seriously, if you love nude-ish lipsticks and haven’t tried this yet. You need it. Period.

3 | IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Makeup 3-in-1 Cleansing Balm
Retail: 38Â >>> Sale Price: $30.40
You guys. This stuff is amazing. My favorite way to remove my makeup is with a cleansing oil or balm, and I’ve tried several over the past few years…and this stuff blows all the rest out of the water. It is such a pleasant experience to remove my makeup — this stuff smells like tangerines. A little goes a long way and because it’s so pricey for a makeup remover, it’s definitely a good one to buy during a sale!

4 | Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lipsticks
Retail: $24Â >>>Â Sale Price: $19.20
I love liquid lipsticks and I own many different brands. And then Smashbox released their line of liquid lipsticks this year….and put all the other liquid lipsticks I owned to shame. It is so good. I have a full review linked below, so check it out for more details. But seriously, I love this formula. Very comfortable to wear!

5 | Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation
Retail: $39Â >> Sale Price: $31.20
This is another full coverage foundation, but a lot less intense than the All Nighter. I feel like it lets your skin breath more and you don’t feel it on your skin when wearing it. Definitely a great option if you have blemishes to conceal or if you have oily skin — both things I have, so you know why I like it. 😉

6 | IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Betterâ„¢ CC+â„¢ Cream with SPF 50+
Retail: $38Â >>> Sale Price: $30.40
Okay, I know…another foundation product. But this one is a CC cream! So it’s different! 🙂 This stuff is perfect for your every day makeup and it’s giving you a lot of benefits and protection at the same time. And it gives the best coverage of any CC cream I’ve seen on the market. It has a fragrance to it, but it has never bothered my skin and makes it enjoyable to apply.

7 | Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick
Retail: $26Â >>>Â Sale Price: $20.80
I am a big fan of the Bite Beauty line, and specifically this Amuse Bouche line. They are incredibly comfortable and hydrating to wear and the colors are so pigmented and intense. They aren’t transfer proof, but they do a great job of staying on your lips through a regular day…just don’t eat a sub sandwich. 😉

8 | Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Palette
Retail: $49Â >>>Â Sale Price: $39.20
I know everyone is a fan of the original Chocolate Bar palette, and that one is a good one…but this one has my heart. I think it’s mostly because of all the bronze/gold shades in here. If you like warm-toned neutrals, this is the palette to get. The shadow quality is fab!

9 | IT Cosmetics Tightline Mascara
Retail: $24Â >>>Â Sale Price: $19.20
If you like to get right to the bottom of your lash line, but poke yourself with regular wands: this is the mascara for you! Or, if you are like me and have very short and whimy bottom lashes: this is also the mascara for you! It’s not my one-and-only, but it is the mascara I like to apply first before going in with second mascara. It does a beautiful job of coating each lash and giving you beautiful definition.

10 | Tarte Tartelette In Bloom Palette
Retail: $45Â >>>Â Sale Price: $36
I purchased the original Tartelette palette and while I found it nice…I frequently noticed that the shadows were difficult to blend. Ain’t nobody got time for that! Not surprisingly, I almost didn’t get this palette when it released, but finally bit the bullet…and am so glad I did! I feel like the shadows in here are smoother and creamier than the first palette and they work so beautifully on the lid. Love it!

The Tartelette palette remains a beauty! And I’m just dying to try the new UD foundation.

Yes, I love the In Bloom palette, so beautiful! And if you like full coverage foundations, you’ll love what the All Nighter has to offer 😉
