It’s been a long time coming, but I am finally sharing my thoughts of the E.L.F. Cosmetics Mad for Matte palette! I’ve featured this palette in a few posts already — such as my Waterproof Summer Makeup collab and the 3 Ways I Enjoy Mom Time — so I figured it was past time to share a review on this all-matte palette from the drugstore!
Smashbox has been so generous in flooding me with new releases! I’ve already reviewed their color correcting sticks HERE, but shortly after sharing that post they sent me a bunch more products within a few weeks, so I decided to share my reviews on each of the products that are new from Smashbox with you in one (big) post! It’s been a while since I’ve shared recent beauty favorites — I used to do it monthly, but I just wasn’t discovering many true beauty favorites within a months time, so I opted to not share a post than to throw together a bunch of products that I wasn’t truly in love with. Which is why I’ll be doing them seasonally from now on.
Today I’m collaborating with a bunch of gals to create a prom-inspired makeup look and I’ll not only be showing you all the products I used to create this look, but also a step-by-step tutorial for the eye look. It’s super simple, by the way, and requires few shadows but makes a statement! Are you ready to see the look I created? Lets go!
I shared on Snapchat a few weeks back when I purchased the Revlon ColorStay ‘Not Just Nudes’ Romantic Nudes palette and I’m finally able to share my complete thoughts with you today! It’s always exciting when the drugstore brings out a big eyeshadow palette — I reviewed the L’Oreal Color Riche La Palette Nude2 palette right when it was released! — and the hope is that it’ll be just as good as a high-end eyeshadow palette. Did this Not Just Nudes palette meet my expectations? 🙂
I reached the end of my Finish 7 By Spring challenge and I’m here to share the results! This ended back on March 21st, but I am just now able to post about it. I’ve been looking forward to sharing my experience with this challenge — it was definitely harder than I had anticipated (as I’m sure you can guess from the NYX blush there, haha!) But let’s jump in and see how I did with all the different products and whether I would repurchase them or not.
