Are you ready for this? I am so excited to share this ‘best of beauty’ post with you all. No reviews or talking about “good products” — this is the makeup that I’ve been reaching for all year long. Even when there is a pile of new things to try, I just can’t help myself So grab yourself some coffee, maybe a snack, and let’s dive right in!
If you’ve been reading the blog for any length of time, you know I am a big LORAC Cosmetics fan. Needless to say, I was surprised when I realized I’ve never done a top 10 or top 5 from LORAC. Like…how did that even happen?? Well, today we’re going to fix that! I like so many products that they put out, but these 5 are the cream of the crop for me!
I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect when I tried this heated eyelash curler from Chella for the first time. It seemed like a gimmicky product, since it doesn’t have a way to really grab onto the eyelashes and force them upward. But, as the title suggests…I was pleasantly surprised by this device!
I shared my original top 5 nude lipsticks well over a year ago — which you can read HERE — and because nudes are my favorite shade to wear…it’s about time I update you all on my current top 5. I was kind of surprised when I realized that the nude lipsticks I reach for the most aren’t any of the ones I used to reach for.
It’s been a while since I’ve shared recent beauty favorites — I used to do it monthly, but I just wasn’t discovering many true beauty favorites within a months time, so I opted to not share a post than to throw together a bunch of products that I wasn’t truly in love with. Which is why I’ll be doing them seasonally from now on.
I can’t believe November is here already — it’s a big month for me, as my little girl is due at the end of the month! Believe me when I say things are getting real now! Baby furniture is going up and this new mama is trying to get everything in order before the big day.
But, anyways, I’m getting off topic! This post is all about my favorites from October (not be freaking out about being a mother! 😛 )! I had a lot of beauty favorites for this month, which wasn’t too surprising. When I sat down and started thinking of what I’ve been reaching for repeatedly, all these products instantly stood out in my mind as obvious beauty favorites from this past month. So let’s jump right into the post, shall we?
It’s been a couple months since I shared a monthly favorites post, but I’m bringing it back for September with 5 new products that have been my go-to during the past month. And I think will continue to be staples in my makeup routine for many more months to come!
