NYX Cosmetics released their new Ultimate Shadow Palettes a few weeks ago and everyone instantly connected them visually as looking like the popular Viseart palettes. These palettes are on the more expensive end for NYX, but I was able to get them on sale during a ‘Buy One Get One Half Off” and use a 20% off Ulta coupon on top of that. Much more affordable! But are they worth it?

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve tried a new mascara and this new Fully Charged Magnetic mascara from PUR Cosmetics has been giving my lashes life recently. Ever since it arrived, really. My lashes have been really sad ever since my postpartum hair loss started kicking into full swing (no one ever told me you also loose lashes! 😮 ) so I’ve been needing a good mascara to amp up the volume for me!
LORAC has come out with new blushes this year — the Color Source Buildable Blushes. If you’ve been reading my blog for any length of time, you’ll know I love LORAC Cosmetics products, but I’ve actually never tried their blushes before. Not to give anything away, but I’ve been really impressed. Let’s jump into the review!
I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving! My husband and I spent it with both our families at our home. Such special memories! 🙂 For today’s post I’m bringing you a colorful fall face of the day look featuring the LORAC Mega PRO 2 palette as part of the BBC November Challenge — which was to incorporate the colors yellow, orange, and red into something. It could be makeup, nails, or hair. Of course, I decided to create a makeup look and this is what I got.
I know — it’s about time, right? The LORAC Mega PRO 2 palette has been out for a while now, but if you’re still on the fence about if you need this palette or not…I hope my review today will help you decide! And, best part of all, it’s still available on the Ulta website — much better than last year, when it sold out so quickly from every retailer that had it! But, anyways, we’ve got a lot to talk about today so grab a cup of coffee and let’s jump right in!
I don’t know about you, but when I go through the effort of putting on face makeup, I am looking for flawless, poreless results. I have fairly rough skin due to large pores and old acne scars and the most important thing I look for in a foundation is something that will help fill those pores. And I found a line at Ulta that will give me just that — it’s from LORAC’s POREfection face line. Just keep reading to see how I achieved this poreless face routine.
It’s been a while since I posted my first “Dupe or Dud” post, but I’m bringing it back today. If you didn’t read that one, go check it out and see how you can save $17 on a dupe! 😉 Today we’re looking at products from LORAC and Physicians Formula.
I’ve been a BIG fan of the LORAC liner ever since it was sent to me, which is obvious since I’ve repurchased it twice since then. You can read my original review for this liner HERE, but for those of you who have, you know I love it and have been wanting to find a cheaper dupe for this LORAC line. Ready to see if I did?
