I know this is way outside the box of what I typically do when I play with makeup, but a bunch of beauty blogger friends had the idea to do a monthly challenge together and I thought it was too fun not to participate. For this month, the challenge was ‘mermaids’ and this is what I came up with….
This month was a no-brainer when it came to beauty favorites. I didn’t have a lot of products, but there were definitely 4 products that I kept grabbing for almost the entire month, so of course I have to share it with you all!

I was browsing the drugstore isle at my Ulta (as I always do whenever I go!) and saw the new stand for the new L’Oreal Color Riche La Palette Nudes coming out with, and — to my surprise — there was one palette of the Nude 2 palettes sitting there. Only one. So of course I snatched it up to review for you all!
I’ve been trying this palette out every day since I bought it. But, to make sure I don’t give anything away here….keep on reading to see if it’s worth the steep drugstore price tag or not. 🙂
If you’re like me — a girl who can’t not do some form of a winged liner (or cat eye…whatever you call it) on a daily basis — than you know there are days where you just want to throw your brush or gel pot across the room because you’re fed up with trying to get an even wing.
I’m not the only one, right??
Well, the day I discovered this trick…the frustration of getting the perfect, even winged liner became a thing of the past! So let’s move right into the tutorial, shall we?!
I originally had thought to post my review of this palette and then wait a few weeks to share a tutorial with the palette…but after playing around with this palette, I thought it would be best to combine the two.
I know I’m going to be giving away my review…but I honestly wasn’t very impressed with this palette. But before I spill all the beans, let’s jump into the tutorial!
