The silisponge has been taking over the internet! I think I first saw it the beginning of December and now just about everyone is talking about it. SO many Youtube videos on it. But…is it really worth the hype? Did someone finally create a tool that will replace the infamous — and much loved — beauty blender?
Lipsense. I’m sure you’ve seen the proof videos — ladies taking a finger or two and dragging them all over their lips…and nothing budges. They’ve been popping up in my Facebook feed for months and I’ve been so intrigued. They seem like the answer to all our dreams for a no-budge lipstick. But are they really? Let’s dive in to all the ins and outs of this magical product!
I was contacted several weeks ago by Glo Minerals to see if I was interested in trying their Bold Pursuit collection. This collection is put together to give you that go-to holiday look with 5 of their products. Because December was so crazy for me — if you follow me on Snapchat…you know how crazy it ended up being — I wasn’t able to get a review up before Christmas. But! Since I think there are many other occasions were wings and a red lip are appropriate I decided to still share my thoughts on this set. (Better late than never, as the saying goes… 🙂 )

So many holiday parties to go to in the winter and if you’re like me you struggle with how to wear lipstick despite dry, cracked, and even flaky lips. It always flairs right at the most inconvenient time. I mean, who wants to wear a fun red or bold berry lipstick when it sticks under — or skips over — all the dry patches?
Pixi by Petra is a brand I don’t have a lot of experience with, and mostly just because I don’t shop at Target often. But earlier this year I was thrilled to be asked to join their PR list and since then they’ve been sending me products periodically. I have been able to try out several products from their line and think it’s past time that I share my thoughts — both the good and the bad — with you all!
Lancome has always been that brand that I usually pass over. Not because I don’t like their products — I haven’t tried much from them, in fact — but it’s just always been that brand I don’t really see when I am shopping at Sephora. However, that’s going to change from now on because I had the opportunity to try several eye products from Lancome this past month…and I am super excited to share them with you!
