Lancome has always been that brand that I usually pass over. Not because I don’t like their products — I haven’t tried much from them, in fact — but it’s just always been that brand I don’t really see when I am shopping at Sephora. However, that’s going to change from now on because I had the opportunity to try several eye products from Lancome this past month…and I am super excited to share them with you!
I was sent all these products from Influenster, which, if you are not aware, is a website that ANYONE can join. You do not need to be an influencer or blogger at all, you just need to have some social media channel that you can share your thoughts on. Once you have joined you will randomly be selected to receive a variety of different types of products. If you haven’t yet, you totally need to check this website out!
Lancome’s Look Me In My Lashes Products
Définicils Lengthening and Defining Mascara
Retail: $27.50 || Okay, besides the fact that I can’t pronounce the name of this mascara to save my life…I think it’s a decent mascara. It’s the type that I like to use first on my lashes to really define them, and then follow up with a more voluminous mascara. I did wear it alone a few times and experienced some flaking. But with a good mascara on top, I had no issues. Since I am big on the “mascara layering” trend, I think this is a great one to have in my routine. Would I repurchase? Probably not — there are so many at the drugstore I enjoy just as much.
Drama Liqui-Pencil Longwear Eyeliner
Retail: $23 || These were the STAR of the show for me! Oh my goodness…these apply like perfectly-soften butter! The glide on like a dream and set fairly quickly. Once they are set, they do NOT budge! They remind me of the drugstore Silkissime liners, except these last longer in my waterline — which is a huge plus. Will I repurchase? Definitely! I think I want to try a brown shade next…
Pencil Sharpener
Retail: $7 || This works really well, sharpens all my pencils very easily. I’ve purchased some $1 and $2 sharpeners in the past and have never liked how they sharpen. This, however, is super easy. Is it the best pencil sharpener for the best price? I don’t know! But it’s definitely the best sharpener I own! I am glad to have it 🙂
Bi-Facil – Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover
Retail: $15 || Whenever I hear people talk about their favorite products from Lancome, I feel like this eye makeup remover is mentioned the most. And I can totally see why — it’s a fantastic eye makeup remover. I just take a cotton round, put a little on it, and then let it sit on my lashes for a few seconds. I don’t have to scrub or agitate my eye and it gets every little bit of mascara off. Even my stubborn waterproof formulas! Will I repurchase? If I want to splurge…it’s pretty pricey, but I do think it’s a fantastic product.
Visionnaire Eye Cream Advanced Multi-Correcting Eye Balm
Full Size Retail: $65 || I did not get the full size for this product, but it was a decent size sample. I think I was able to use it for a good week. But because of that I can’t really report any long term benefits. I love eye creams and really wanted to enjoy this one…but unfortunately I did not. When I would apply it and rub it underneath my eyes, I actually experienced a bit of burning. Not intense or anything, but certainly a little. So…would I repurchase this? No, this is one I will not purchase again.
And those are all the products I received from Influenster! I am super excited that I got the opportunity to try these Lancome products, and I have definitely found a new favorite eye pencil!

I’m sad I didn’t get picked for that box, but I own the Drama Liquid-Pencil in Black and it is definitely one of the best pencil liners I have ever tried. The Bifacil makeup remover has achieved cult status so I’ve gotta try that too. I like Lancome, but I sometimes don’t use it as much because so many of their products, especially skincare, are fragranced.

Those pencils are amazing — the black is so pigmented! 😀
