In January I shared my first What’s New at the Drugstore post and since then I’ve found a lot of other new items continuing to pop up. So here’s part two! These three brands — Milani, NYX, and Maybelline — really stood out to me as the one releasing really neat and intriguing products at the drugstore, so I grabbed a couple of things from each brand. I’ve been testing them out for weeks now and am finally ready to give you my thoughts on these products!
It’s been so long since I’ve shared a “Dupe or Dud” post, but today I finally have two products to share with you that appear very similar….but are they really?? Let’s find out! Something unique about today’s post is that they’re both from the drugstore! Ready to see if e.l.f.’s smudge pot is a dupe or dud for a cult-favorite shade from Maybelline’s Color Tattoo pots?
It seems like every brand is coming out with their own take on a contour palette, and Tarte is no exception with their new Tarteist Contour Palette. They even released a dual-ended brush to pair with their new palette. Since I don’t have a lot of experience with Tarte products (a problem I want to fix this year) I decided to give these two a try and see how well they perform. Because if there is one thing I love to do on the daily, it’s contour!
As we go into February, love is filling the air! Did you know that Butter|London has released an eyeshadow palette called the Shadow Clutch Palette? I don’t know about you, but I’ve always seen them as the nail polish brand. Good eyeshadow that’s blendable, pigmented, and beautiful isn’t easy to make and I don’t have time for chalky or dry shadows. So, did Butter|London hit the nail on the head?
