Pixi by Petra is a brand I don’t have a lot of experience with, and mostly just because I don’t shop at Target often. But earlier this year I was thrilled to be asked to join their PR list and since then they’ve been sending me products periodically. I have been able to try out several products from their line and think it’s past time that I share my thoughts — both the good and the bad — with you all!
Lancome has always been that brand that I usually pass over. Not because I don’t like their products — I haven’t tried much from them, in fact — but it’s just always been that brand I don’t really see when I am shopping at Sephora. However, that’s going to change from now on because I had the opportunity to try several eye products from Lancome this past month…and I am super excited to share them with you!
I’ve been curious about airbrush makeup for a while. I always see the flawless results in the commercials and love the idea of just taking a few moments to spritz it on and be good to go. But is it really that easy? That’s what I wanted to find out!
I know I am late sharing about the Smashbox Light It Up holiday collection for this year, but I did want to still share my thoughts since some of the sets are still available. Smashbox released a bunch of different sets, exclusive to the different stores. I am not sure how many different value sets they put out this year, but I have three of them that I’ve been able to test out extensively this past month.

Colour Prevails is that brand at my local drugstore that I always see, admire the pretty packaging…but haven’t tried anything from. To be honest, I think after three years of blogging about beauty I’ve only ever see one other person share a review on the products in this line. So, I asked on my Snapchat if you guys would be interested in a review of some of the products in the line and I got so many requests for a review…so I went shopping!
If you’ve been reading the blog for any length of time, you know I am a big LORAC Cosmetics fan. Needless to say, I was surprised when I realized I’ve never done a top 10 or top 5 from LORAC. Like…how did that even happen?? Well, today we’re going to fix that! I like so many products that they put out, but these 5 are the cream of the crop for me!
