Color Correcting has taken the beauty community by storm! I’m honestly not sure what set it off, but all of a sudden all the makeup companies started coming out with their own array of correcting products. I didn’t jump in on the new trend originally, but after receiving these products from Smashbox, I decided to give it a whirl and see if it makes a difference on skin who’s main issue is just undereye circles and acne — teen skin, essentially! 🙂
What matters to you when your period comes calling? For me, it’s makeup! (as is probably obvious from this blog 😛 ) U By Kotex® has challenged me to share with you all what I like to do to get my mind off the cramping, and so today I have a daytime smokey eye tutorial that is super simple to accomplish and quick, too!
Today I’m collaborating with a bunch of gals to create a prom-inspired makeup look and I’ll not only be showing you all the products I used to create this look, but also a step-by-step tutorial for the eye look. It’s super simple, by the way, and requires few shadows but makes a statement! Are you ready to see the look I created? Lets go!
St Patrick’s Day is just around the corner! And in the spirit of the holiday I decided to create an eye look that incorporated both green and gold. I was recently sent the new gold liquid liner from Youngblood and thought it would be perfect to use in this eye look. I wanted to keep this look fun, but wearable, for a day of festivities, but it would be really easy to tone it down a bit for just a regular day at the office. 🙂
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner — less than a week away! — and while I enjoy a sparkly pink eyelook on occasion, this year I wanted to go for a more cool-tone approach with a soft and smokey look that accurately shows my own “Looks to Love” style. If you want to see how I achieved this look (step-by-step pictures included), just keep reading!

There are so many hot trends going around right now — strobing, matte lips, baking, brown lipsticks, etc — it can be overwhelming if you’re just starting out in your makeup adventure. Today I have a fun “how to” post that quickly explains how to do another hot trend — contouring. In my opinion, it’s the easiest one to start out with and the one that you can incorporate into your natural every-day makeup routine without looking too ‘glam’ed up. Ready to find out how?
