5 Last Minute Mother's Day Gift Ideas | For All the Tardy Daughters Out There Mother’s Day is almost here! If there is one thing my family knows about me…it’s that I am so bad at remembering birthdays/special holidays. Typically, no matter how much heads up I am given…I don’t sit down to figure out gifts until a few days beforehand. So I thought it would be very fitting to share with you 5 really great last minute Mother’s Day gift ideas.

Best part of this last minute mother’s day gift guide is that everything can be found and purchased from Amazon! If you are a tardy or forgetful gifter like me….than you know that Amazon Prime has saved the day SO many times! Their 2 day shipping is the bomb and often rescues me from delivering extremely tardy gifts 🙂

Also keep in mind that Amazon offers a gift wrapping option — so if the special mother in your life lives out far away from you, for a few dollars more Amazon will wrap it up (very nicely, I might add) and deliver it right to their door for you.

A Personalized Gift

This is probably my favorite gift to give — it could be something totally ordinary like a coffee mug…but if you personalize it you transforms the gift into something special. I love getting personalized coffee mugs like this one from Vilight. Really cute and perfect to give to a mom who enjoys coffee and having unique and special cups to drink from each day. I decided to go this route this year for my mom and mother in law this year — I can’t wait to see what they think of their new mugs!

But if the mom in your life isn’t into coffee, consider a personalized necklace like this one from IMEIM Jewelry. I love the words “mom” edited on it, but you’re also able to further customize it with their initial and birthstone. So pretty! I really love getting personalized dainty jewelry for the women in my life — I feel like you can never go wrong with a necklace.

A Wireless Headset

I know this may seem like an odd gift…but hear me out — this gift is for the practical moms! This is seriously one of the greatest inventions…especially if you are a mom! The ability to either take calls or listen to a podcast or music without having to have your phone physically IN your hand is amazing! If your mom doesn’t own one of these, this would be my number one recommendation to get her for Mother’s Day! I love my set and can’t imagine going back to the traditional earbuds that connected to your phone.

Now I wouldn’t say get just any bluetooth wireless headset. There are a lot out there and many don’t hold up — I’ve tried SO many that work for only a month or two. SO my recommendation is to go with the LG’s Tone Pro HBS-760 Bluetooth Wireless Stereo Headset. It’s seriously the best I’ve tried! I’ve owned my pair since early fall of last year and it’s still going strong. If you follow me on Snapchat (I’m LadyKaty92 over there) than you probably see this headset around my neck 95% of the time and I frequently get asked what brand/model it is….so now you know! It’s SO handy as a mom of two little ones, I seriously cannot recommend it enough!

Bath Bombs

Does the mother in your life like to take baths? Then this bath bomb gift set from Sky Organics is the perfect thing! They come with a variety of scents so that she can experience and try them all…and then can repurchase her favorites! I’ve personally used these from Sky Organics and really do enjoy them…even though I am not much of a bath person, lol. But when I do (on the rare occasion) take a bath, you can bet that I’ll be using one of these bath bombs.

And you know what, if she isn’t into baths like me, Sky Organics also sells shower steamers so that she can have a spa experience in the shower. How cool is that?! And both the bath bombs and shower steamers smell heavenly, even through the box — no one will guess that it was a last minute mother’s day gift!

A New Wallet

It’s always fun to get a new wallet — I usually use mine until it’s falling apart…and then a little longer. 😛 So receiving a new wallet as a gift totally makes my day! My recommendation for a last minute mother’s day gift that is well made and is a step above other wallets would be this BMoss Leather Woman’s Wallet. The company actually sent me this wallet and I’ve got to say I am totally loving how sleek it is and how many cards I can fit in it! My old wallet (which I thought had a lot of slots) only had 14 pockets for cards. Well, the BMoss wallet has 19 card pockets. :-O Keep in mind, though that this wallet doesn’t have a place for a checkbook, but it has two large pockets on either side that totally make up for it! And it also comes with RFID blocking protection. I am not well-versed on this side of technology, but basically it helps to ensure no one steals your credit card information via radiowaves. Which sounds like a good thing to me!

Another bonus with this wallet that I didn’t realize before is that my iPhone can fit into one of the zippers. So if I’m just running into a store really quick and don’t want to lug in my purse…I can stick my phone inside my wallet and I’m set! The one drawback to this wallet is that the pockets are made to fit the cards pretty snugly. For me, though, I don’t mind the tight fit because I am loving how slim the wallet is (saves room in my purse!) and how much I can hold in it!

A Willow Tree Figurine

Last up, I am a sucker for the Willow Tree figurines so I had to include the ones for mothers. 🙂 There is something about these beautiful, roughly cut, faceless figures that make my heart melt. I own several of them…and every time I see these in a store I want to own more, lol. If you’ve never gotten one of these for your mom, I highly recommend it as a last minute mother’s day gift! They’re kinda pricey and don’t really scream mother’s day, but they’re special and moving in a quiet way and I think that’s what I love about them. 🙂 Do you like Willow Tree sculptures?
