Towards the end of 2017 I was inspired to take my entire makeup collection and put it through a decluttering process. My collection was bursting from the drawers and I knew there were a lot of products I just kept skipping over. What better time to declutter, right?
I filmed everything and if you’ve been subscribed to my Youtube channel, I’ve been putting videos out every few weeks since I finished it. But if you aren’t subscribed…no worries! Now you can watch them all, or just the categories you are interested in!

That was my entire makeup collection, broken apart into groups. It was a long and tiring process (I was 7 months pregnant at the time), but the results were definitely worth it!
If you are curious what I did with the decluttered products, I ended up doing several things with them. Some I threw away because they were old or used mascaras, some I gave away to my family and friends, some I donated. A few products that I did not receive as PR and were still in like new condition I listed for sale on my Poshmark account.

Its always great to have a big clean out session! I feel like I keep so many so I can use them for comparing when someone asks about dupes or not but at some point its just got to go.

I didn’t know you could sell used makeup on Poshmark. I’ve bought used items there but never investigated makeup.
I did a giant declutter a year ago because I was moving and need to do another.

Wow! Decluttering through so many categories must feel so satisfying! I’ve done mini purges in the last two months when I moved places, but I now feel inspired to do a proper declutter!

I’ve been slowly decluttering myself as I come across products that just don’t work for me or just are colours I find unflattering. It’s definitely not easy when it’s something I’ve spend a chunk of money on!

I really need to do more hard cuts, especially in my blush drawer. I still have some that I totally love but I swear I only wear the same two or three.
