Oh my gosh, you guys, I can’t believe I am writing this post…but it’s true! Today I’ve officially started my Youtube channel….and I’m just a tad bit terrified. 😛 But what better way to start off this new adventure than to host a beauty giveaway, right?
Thank you SO much for your patience with me while I’ve been absent for the past two months. If you did not know, I found out I was pregnant with our second child at the end of April and by the time May hit…morning sickness hit as well. 🙁 I know not everyone experiences it the same, but for me I spent all of May and June on the couch struggling with fatigue, constant nausea and, unfortunately, throwing up became a daily occurrence. 🙁 But I am now 16 weeks along and feeling a little bit better every day. 😀
Why Am I Starting A Youtube Channel?
I’ve been dreaming about starting a Youtube channel to go along with my blog for several years now, but I kept pushing it off and talking myself out of it. I actually got really close to starting a channel at the beginning of this year — even filmed the first video, but was so self conscious I talked myself out of it and deleted the footage. 😮
But we are going for it this time! Even though this first video was awkward to film and I was SO self conscious while editing and seeing all my mistakes — ummm, why did I have to have lipstick on my teeth the one time I did the intro perfectly? — we are still publishing the video!
I will still be sharing new makeup reviews and comparison posts here on my blog. My Youtube channel will just be an addition and another outlet for my makeup creativity. As of right now for my channel I plan to participate in project panning challenges, makeup tags, makeup monthly favorites, makeup reviews, as well as subscription unboxings and reviews. If that sounds like something you’d like to see…I hope you’ll subscribe!
