What on earth are Makeup Readers? The first time I saw these glasses was in a Facebook ad and they looked pretty interesting. When Readers.com reached out to me about hosting a giveaway for a pair, I had to say YES — what a great opportunity to let one of YOU try these out. Keep reading to see how to enter!

There are two different styles that Readers.com sells of their Makeup Readers. The first is this colorful pink and yellow pair that has two separate pieces that open downward individually. That way whichever eye you are working on you can have access to, while still being able to see through the other lens.
The other one has only one lens that rotates from left to right. This one is pretty unique and looks fun to wear — when doing your makeup you just flip it to whichever side you’re not working on that way you can see what you’re doing and have access to your eyelid for makeup application at the same time! Brilliant, right?

Since I do not need glasses to do my makeup, this is not a review of how they perform, but I can share with you that they seem pretty durable in quality. The frame and handles are all plastic and the makeup readers are pretty light weight — like any pair of reading glasses. The hinges used to allow the lens to move is very tight and secure, so no fear of it falling down or moving when you’re trying to apply your makeup.
