Alright, so I feel like I have a lot of information to give you, but I’ll keep it as short and sweet as I (long-winded Katie) can. If you want to ignore my ramblings and just go straight to the post, CLICK HERE…just come back here after because there’s still some news that QVC isn’t telling you. 🙂

So the IT’s Your Top 5 Superstars is actually a 6 piece holiday collection that features 5 of their most popular products plus a new release. It retails on the QVC website for $72.50 plus $3 for shipping and handling. But because it’s a Today’s Special Value (I believe Saturday is it’s official “TSV” day, but they’ve launched it early) they’ve lowered the price is $59.95! 😀

Pretty short and sweet, wouldn’t you say? I’m rather proud of myself… But now that you know the pertinent information, let’s take a look at everything in the set.

Heavenly Skin Full-Coverage Foundation Brush || Retail: $58

First thing my eyes went to in this set was the brush. That is one unique brush, am I right?! This very uniquely designed brush is made to optically blur away the look of imperfections. Because of the way it’s cut it hugs the natural contours of your features and gives you an airbrushed coverage effortlessly. I’ve used it about 3 times and while it takes some getting used to, it performs beautifully. Never had an issues with how it applies my makeup.

Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Aging Concealer || Retail: $24

I wasn’t surprised at all to see this product in the IT’s Your Top 5 Superstars set — this concealer is well known for being amazing, full coverage, and the most long-lasting concealer out there. I’ve gotten a lot of questions about how to use this without creasing: because it is so thick you can’t really use this like you would a regular concealer. Or to highlight your face, like so many concealers are used today.

What I do is take a dot — A DOT — and warm it between two fingers for a few seconds. Then take whatever is left on one of your fingers and dot it under your eyes. Just a little is all you need. Then take a clean finger, blend it out, set it with a powder, and you’re done. Great coverage!

Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara || Retail: $24

This was a product I was super excited about. I heard so much hype around this product when it first launched. And I still hear influencers talking about it! I do not typically use false lashes so a good mascara is a must. This mascara has a unique technology that increases the appearance of lash volume by an average of 500% after just one coat.

And I can totally see what they’re talking about! I am honestly still not sure if I love this mascara…but I can definitely say it does what it says it does. Just one coat and I can totally see immense volume. It achieves this by giving it a very thick, clumpy look. I’ve enjoyed my lashes the most when I take a mascara that gives a lot of separation to the lashes first, and then following it up with the Superhero. But that’s just my preliminary thoughts…still more testing to do! Let me know if you want to see a thorough review. 🙂

Celebration Foundation Illumination || Retail: $35

Another well know and well-loved product from IT Cosmetics is their Celebration Foundation, and specifically their Illumination. I, personally, don’t prefer this formula with my oily skin — but if you have dry skin, or even combo, this will be great for you.

Even though it’s not the most flattering for my skin, I do still wear this foundation for short days. I love the natural, healthy glow it gives my face…until my oils start breaking through, haha. But seriously, I do highly like and recommend this powder foundation! I honestly don’t understand the brush it comes with…it looks like a dinky contour brush. But…whatever! The product is great, so who cares about the travel brush!

Je Ne Sais Quoi Hydrating Color Awakening Lip Treatment || Retail: $24

This has been released in previous QVC sets and that’s where I originally got my first tube from. And I really, really like this! But not for the coloring aspect of it — I just think this is a fantastic lip balm and I have one at my bedside table to apply before bed and one at my vanity to apply before I start getting ready for the day.

It does give you some color, but honestly not enough for me to use this in replace of lipstick or lipgloss when going out. But it is nice and I’ve been using it on the daily. And I have a back up now! Yay!

Brow Power Universal Brow Pencil || Retail: $24

This is the perfect brow pencil for a full-haired brow gal like myself! I honestly can’t say if you have fewer hairs, or if you’re blonde….sorry! But for medium brown hair and very full brows this is IDEAL to just give my brows slight definition and fill in any sparse areas.

It says that this has a revolutionary formula that adheres to the skin, helps concealer gray hair, and look like real hair. Even if you have no hair. As I already said, I can’t really attest to that. But it’s great for me and I am glad to own it again!
