A one brand tutorial featuring Rimmel London! Get the london look!I am back with another one brand tutorial, this time featuring an affordable brand that I love – Rimmel London! Since we are quickly approaching the 4th of July, Independence Day, I thought it would be fun to share a wearable, patriotic face-of-the-day for the festive occasion. As you can see, I am partnering with them on this post. But I enjoy this brand so much I already had most of the products I would need in my collection!

Because I am creating this for the 4th of July, I wanted to incorporate red, white, and blue in this look…but keep it looking wearable. So while this FOTD is very festive for the occasion, it can still be work-appropriate. But however you want to do your makeup for Independence Day, just do you! However you love to express yourself, go for it and rock it! You are beautiful, girl!

One Brand Tutorial: Rimmel London

Love the Rimmel London Stay Matte line!!Before diving into the tutorial (you know I’m a visual gal and like giving those step-by-step instructions! ;-)) let’s take a quick look at everything we’ll be using. Rimmel London’s Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation and Stay Matte Pressed Powder and I also picked up the primer to try for good measure. The Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation is a feather light, oil-free formula that controls my shine all day.

Check out all Rimmel Stay Matte products HERE

These Rimmel London Provocalips are intense! And of course, since there was a red I wanted to use in this look, I went with a VERY red lipstick with their Provocalips Kiss Proof Lip Colour in Play With Fire. The beauty of this formula is that it’ll dry down and last for hours without smudging. So important when wearing red lipstick!

Check out your local Walmart for Rimmel London! All these products — including the the 3 Rimmel Stay Matte products I use in this tutorial — can be found at your local Walmart in the cosmetics section. Because, you know, everything can be found at Walmart! 😉

Okay, let’s dive into the tutorial! Pictures first, than directions.

Step by step tutorial for a 4th of July makeup look feautring Rimmel!Step 1 // After priming your eyelids, dust a matte highlight shade onto your browbone. I know Rimmel sells some fantastic eyeshadow quads, but I couldn’t find any in my local area, so just use your favorite eyeshadows.

Step 2 // Now take your favorite crease color to warm up your crease (of course) just a little bit.]

Step 3 // Using Rimmel London Scandaleyes Shadow Stick in Witness White, apply it to the lid and blend it out with your finger. Make sure you only get it on the center of you eyelid.

Step 4 // With a white shimmer eyeshadow, pat that on top of the cream shadow. This will help lock that white shimmer in and keep your eye look from creasing.

Step 5 // Using the Rimmel London Scandaleyes Shadow Stick in Naughty Navy, wipe some onto a liner brush and use it to line your eyes and create a wing. Make it as long or short as you like. I was feeling the short flick that day. 😉 If you have oily lids (like me!) take a blue shadow and set that line. If you don’t, just allow the liner to set fully before you open your eyes too wide.

Step 6 // Mascara time! I used the Rimmel Scandaleyes Volume Flash Mascara. I honestly wasn’t particularly fond of it. It was okay, nothing that I hated about it, it just didn’t wow me.

Step 7 // Using one of my favorite black pencils – the Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in Black – line your waterline, dragging it just a hair down into your lashes.

Step 8 // Using whatever is left on your liner brush, smudge it below your waterline and set it using whatever eyeshadow is left on your crease brush.

Step 9 // Moving on to the face, I applied Rimmel Stay Matte Primer, Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation, and Rimmel Match Perfection 2-in-1 Concealer and Highlighter for the acne spots and dark circles (and this mama has got some dark circles these days! :-P)

Step 10 // I set all that with Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Translucent. Love this stuff – this is my second pan!

Step 11 // Set them brows! Rimmel’s Brow This Way Brow Styling Gel does a great job keeping my unruly brow hairs in place. Sorry for not including it in the product shots – I accidentally forgot to pull it out of my drawer! 😮

Step 12 // Rimmel has that Kate Sculpting Kit contouring trio that I wish I could’ve gotten my hands on. But even though I went to all my local stores, I couldn’t find it. 🙁 If you have that, apply as much contour, blush, and highlight as you want – and let me know, is it as good as everyone says??

Step 13 // Now all that’s left are the lips! As already mentioned, I’m using Rimmel Provocalips Kiss Proof Lip Colour in Play With Fire. This is a bright shade and not for the faint of heart. I loved rocking it!

Wearable, festive 4th of July makeup look! And that’s all there is to it! I love how the look turned out — my face looks so flawless with that Rimmel ‘s Stay Matte Pressed Powder! I know the eyes are very  shimmery, but I feel like it’s still work-appropriate. And if it isn’t, you could also just tone it down with a less-vibrant red lip and a subtler white shimmer for the lids.

That Rimmel Provocalips is RED!Now it’s your turn to create your 4th of July look! Are you going to be using Rimmel London? Well when you do, make sure you use this Ibotta Offer to help you SAVE MONEY! You can save up to $4.50. Totally fantastic, right? Check out all the details HERE.

What is your favorite product from Rimmel? My newest discovery is their Match Perfection 2-in-1 Concealer and Highlighter — it offers fantastic coverage! Does Rimmel help YOU become your beautiful, authentic self?

This one brand tutorial featuring Rimmel London is fantastic! So festive for the 4th of July, or any day of the year when you want a bold lip and flawless features!

Any questions about my disclosure, read here. :-) Thank you for your support!
