Tria’s Hair Removal Laser 4x – First Impressions & Step-By-Step Tutorial

November 30, 2015 Katie Marie 16 Comments

Tria Beauty // Hair Removal Laser 4x // Step-By-Step Tutorial & First Impressions // #TriaBeauty FromMyVanity.comAs promised, today we’re talking about the Tria Hair Removal Laser 4x and how it worked for me. This isn’t an in-depth review since I haven’t been using it long enough to discover the long-term results (that will come later). But today I’m going to be taking you along with me as I use it for the first time and let you know how it worked for me. Let’s dive in!

If you missed my previous posts on this product, no worries, I’ve got you covered. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Just CLICK HERE to find out what this hair removal device is all about. And CLICK HERE to enter to win your OWN Hair Removal Laser 4x! Yep, it’s a giveaweay and there will be two winners who will receive a brand new laser. Don’t miss out! ๐Ÿ˜‰

What People are Saying About the Hair Removal Laser 4x

I know for me, personally, I put a lot of stock in what other people say about a product — especially if it’s such an investment like this hair removal device. So here’s what some gals who have been using this device for a while have to say about the Tria Hair Removal Device 4x.

Tria Beauty // Hair Removal Laser 4x // Step-By-Step Tutorial // First Customer Review // First Impressions // #TriaBeauty FromMyVanity.comThis review stood out the most for me when doing my research on this device. How amazing is that that she was about to go get professional laser hair removal….and this device gave her exactly that, at a more affordable price! And in her own home, too. That spoke volumes to me, and really pushed me over the edge on giving this product a try.

Tria Beauty // Hair Removal Laser 4x // Step-By-Step Tutorial // Second Customer Review // First Impressions // #TriaBeauty FromMyVanity.comI can relate to this snippet from a review. I hate when my leg or armpit hair starts getting long….but I was too lazy or in too much of a hurry while in the shower to shave. So the thought of not needing to shave as often really intrigues me!

Step-By-Step Tutorial Using the Hair Removal Laser 4x

Before you can use this device, you have to charge it. ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s pretty straight-forward — just plug it in and let it charge for at least two hours. I ended up leaving it plugged in overnight, which won’t hurt the device at all. Now that it’s charged and ready to go, I had to jump in the shower. ๐Ÿ™‚

Tria Beauty // Hair Removal Laser 4x // Step-By-Step Tutorial // Activation // First Impressions // #TriaBeauty FromMyVanity.comNow that it’s charged, you have to activate your Hair Removal Laser 4x device. It’s really easy to do and can be done over the phone or online. I just opted for going to the online activation page. After typing in my email address and the serial number on my device, I had to create an account, which was really quick, and I was ready to go!

Step 1: Prep the Skin

Tria Beauty // Hair Removal Laser 4x // Step-By-Step Tutorial // Step 1: Cleanse Skin // First Impressions // #TriaBeauty FromMyVanity.comBefore you can begin the treatment you have to prepare the area that you will be treating. Make sure the area has been freshly shaved and cleaned — don’t put on any lotions after shaving to ensure that nothing blocks the laser light. Also make sure you dry the area well.

If you purchased the Black Friday Deluxe Kit deal and received the SmoothStart Calming Gel, apply some to the area now. This will help with the sting of the laser treatment. ๐Ÿ™‚

Step 2: Unlock the Laser

Tria Beauty // Hair Removal Laser 4x // Step-By-Step Tutorial // Step 2: Unlock Laser // First Impressions // #TriaBeauty FromMyVanity.comThe Hair Removal Laser 4x will not work until you unlock it (a nice safety feature!). To do this, all you have to do is place the bottom of the laser against the skin you want to treat. There is a sensor at the bottom that checks to make sure your skin tone is safe to treat. (If you want to see if this laser will work for your skintone, go HERE). When I heard a series of beeps, I knew it was unlocked!

Step 3: Set Your Treatment Level

Tria Beauty // Hair Removal Laser 4x // Step-By-Step Tutorial // Step 3: Set Strength // First Impressions // #TriaBeauty FromMyVanity.comNow we’re getting down to business — time to set the treatment level for as high as you can handle. That, honestly, scared me a little bit (how painful was this going to be??) but everyone’s pain tolerance is different, so I can understand why they would have options to make it more or less intense. The higher you set the treatment level, the better results you get. I was a bit scared the first time I tested this out, but it’s honestly not that bad. I put it on the highest treatment and by the time I got up to 20 zaps, it started to feel a bit painful. Like I was being stuck with a needle or something. I let my skin chill for a few minutes before continuing on. The pain lasts for about 10 or so minutes, but isn’t unbearable at all. At least not for me. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Just annoyingly noticeable, almost feels like a very minor burn, if that helps you any. (And remember, I had it set at the highest level. Go big or go home, right?! ๐Ÿ˜› )

Step 4: Place the Treatment Window Against Your Skin

Tria Beauty // Hair Removal Laser 4x // Step-By-Step Tutorial // Step 4: Place Laser Against Skin // First Impressions // #TriaBeauty FromMyVanity.comTreatment time! Place the Hair Removal Laser 4x against your skin and keep it there till you hear two beeps. Treatment is done in that area and you can pick it up and move on to the next spot.

Step 5: Continue Treatment, Making Sure to Overlap Previous Spot

Tria Beauty // Hair Removal Laser 4x // Step-By-Step Tutorial // Step 5: Finish Treatment and Turn Off // First Impressions // #TriaBeauty FromMyVanity.comNow you want to move the device on to the next area of your skin. You want to be sure you’re overlapping the previous spot you just did, this way you ensure the best results from your treatment.

Step 6: All Done! Turn Off Laser!

Once you’ve gone over the entire area you want to treat, you’re done! Just hold down the power button until the laser turns off. Repeat this treatment every 2 weeks for up to 3 months or until you’ve reached the desired results you want.

My First Impressions: As I mentioned, I set mine on the highest treatment and did feel a bit of a sting while doing the treatment, and it lasted for a good 10 minutes or so. The feeling did subside and using the SmoothStart Soothing Gel really does help! I did an area without the gel, and an area with the gel….and if you don’t like pain I highly recommend you use the soothing gel! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I didn’t experience any sort of soreness or redness after I finished my treatment. My skin looked the same as it ever did! Now to wait and see how the hair grows back! I’m really excited to continue using my Hair Removal Laser 4x!

This is so interesting! I’ve seen it before, but I was always such a baby and never gave it a try haha Good to know it’s not overly painful though!

Sounds like a great solution to me. I look forward to hearing how the device does for you over time, as far as hair regrowth or not.

I bought the Philips Lumea and, four uses later, there is barely any hair at all! Like you, I was scared and began at level 2 but am now at level 4. Next month, I’ll take the plunge at 5.

I was interested in the Tria but it doesn’t work for folks with my hair color and skin tone. I decided to invest in the Iluminage and I’m keeping my fingers crossed. These machines are such a big investment so hopefully they work well!

I don’t think I’d ever trust myself enough to do something like this, but it does seem like a really great option for people who need this kind of treatment!

I love the idea of this at home laser treatment. Do you think it goes by fast or does it take a while to get your legs done or something?

I really want this laser. If it was up to me besides my hair I would have a hairless body.
