It’s that time of the year again — IT Cosmetics is currently hosting their Friends & Family sale! I know I’m a bit late jumping on this, but I just found out about it yesterday and I had to put together a post. I’ve been a big fan of IT Cosmetics for a while now — they have some of my favorite products! Want to find out which products I highly recommend you buy during the 25% off sale? Keep reading!
As I said, this year’s IT Cosmetics Friends & Family sale gives you 25% off your purchase over $30, as well as free shipping with the code ITGIRLFF25.
UPDATE: This year (2016) the code is ITFRIENDS and that will get you 25% off your order, just like last year! <3
My Top 10 “IT” Recommendations
These will be listed in no particular order — how can a girl pick between her favorites?!
1. Heavenly Luxe Complection Perfection Brush #7
Retail Price: $48
F&F Sale Price: $36
I am a big fan of applying my liquid foundation with a brush (yes, I enjoy the Beauty Blender on occasion, but typically, I reach for a brush) and out of all the ones I own, this brush has got to be my favorite. I’ve owned it for about a year and it consistently gives me a beautiful airbrush, streak-free foundation application. And the concealer end is also really nice — it’s small, rounded, and tapered, so its the type of brush that works perfectly to blend out under eye concealer. My most-used and most loved brush from It Cosmetics!

2. Tightline Full Lash Length Black Mascara Primer
Retail Price: $24
F&F Sale Price $18
This little mascara is a miracle worker for me! While I love using it as it was intended — to get right into the tightline of your lashes and prime them for mascara — it does wonders for my lower lashes. I’ve never had very impressive lashes. They’re so short and sparse that I never even applied mascara to them prior to owning this mascara because it would just turn into a hot mess whenever I tried to go at them with a regular-sized mascara wand. Enter the It Cosmetic Tightline mascara! It makes applying mascara to them a breeze and it also coats them just enough to make them stand out and be noticeable. I love it and it’s a must in my makeup collection!

3. Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50+
Retail Price: $38
F&F Sale Price: $28.5
I don’t actually have the exact same packaging as what’s available on the It Cosmetics website in my makeup collection anymore (I gave it to my mom a few months ago when I got too light to use it) but I own this special compact that has the same type of product as what’s sold in the tube. This compact came in a QVC Today Special Value back in January and I don’t think you can get it this way anymore (not that I could see on their website).
Okay, now that that’s all explained, let’s talk about the product! It is the best CC Cream that’s out there, hands down! You might be a bit skeptical — as I was — about the power of this foundation, but I found that it covered and blurred my imperfections just as well as any buildable, medium coverage foundation would! And the best part about this product? It’s protecting and doing amazing things to your skin while you’re wearing it!

4. Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Age Concealer
Retail Price: $24
F&F Sale Price: $18
This is the newest addition to my favorite It Cosmetic products, but it’s been a well known IT Cult favorite for years. I received this little tube in a freebie bag during an online order at Ulta and while it’s pretty small compared to the full-size product, this little tube will last me a long time! You only need the smallest dot to totally conceal your under eyes. It’s a very interesting and unique consistency, in my opinion — I don’t think I own anything quiet like it. It’s almost ‘sticky’, and yet I never have an issue blending it out or setting it with powder. And while all my under eye concealers will crease overtime (due to my smile wrinkles 🙂 ) this one holds out with the best of them and gets me the farthest without having to worry about creasing. Definitely one worth checking out!
5. Heavenly Luxe Double Airbrush Foundation Brush
Retail Price: $48
F&F Sale Price: $38
This is another brush I find that I am frequently using from my arsenal of makeup brushes. My favorite time to use it is whenever I’m opting for a powder foundation that day. It blends the powder perfectly into my skin and tends to give me the most coverage from the powder, too. The bristles on this brush are so soft! I have had an issue with the barrel of the brush coming unglued, but all I had to do was let IT Cosmetics know and they shipped out a replacement without a fuss. (They have awesome customer service!) All in all, I highly recommend you give this one a try! This brush does not mislead you with its name — it really does give you an airbrushed effect!

6. Limited Edition Naturally Pretty Celebration Matte Luxe Palette
Retail Price: $48
F&F Sale Price: $36
This palette is actually last years limited edition palette that IT Cosmetics released for the holidays, so I’m not really sure why this is currently available (online only). But since it is, I’m definitely going to mention it! You guys know my favorite aspect of makeup are eyeshadows. I LOVE doing up my eyes and while I love me some shimmer and sparkle…my true love is for matte eyeshadows. So it should be no surprise that this palette is one of my best-loved palettes in my collection. I don’t own the original Naturally Pretty palette or the newest limited edition one they released this year, but I’m sure they’re just as good as this one! So my recommendation would be to look at all three palettes and purchase the one that contains the shades you would use the most. You won’t be disappointed!
7. Celebration Foundation OR Celebration Illumination Foundation
Retail Price: $35
F&F Sale Price: $26.25
I’m listing both of the formulas because, at one time, I owned both. 🙂 They both perform the same, in my eyes, so the only help I can be for which you should get would be if you have dry skin or oily skin. Though to be perfectly honest, I have combination skin and don’t really see an issue wearing the Illumination formula. I mention this foundation and how amazing it is in my Quick Makeup Routines for Busy Gals post, so head there for more information. I’ll just be short and sweet by saying that this is the only powder foundation that I will wear on it’s own. If I’m having a good skin day, I don’t even need to put on any concealer prior to applying this. It gives me the perfect amount of coverage for every day and really does look like my skin — perfect for those no-makeup makeup days!

8. No. 50 Serum Anti-Age Collegan Veil Primer
Retail Price: $48
F&F Sale Price: $36
Okay, so I don’t technically own this primer (yet!) but I’ve used enough samples in the past to totally fall in love with it! Every time I get a new sample packet of this primer, I get excited because it will last me at least a couple uses. It’s a very unique primer, as it almost feels like a moisturizer when you apply, and yet it has just a touch of that silicone feel to it. It gives my complexion a very smooth appearance and makes my face feel so soft!!
9. CC+ Radiance Palette
Retail Price: $38
F&F Sale Price: $28.50
This is another palette that I think is totally worth the money! While it’s not very versatile depending on your skintone, if the colors in this palette work for you, it’s a great buy! You get a beautiful finishing powder, a pigmented blush, and a bronzer. The bronzer is a bit warm, so doesn’t work if you want to contour, but I like to use it to deepen up the edges of my face. This palette is really great for when you travel — just throw this baby into your bag and you have all three cheek products!

10. Limited Edition Your Je Ne Sais Quoi! Set
Retail Price: $28 ($44 value!)
F&F Sale Price: $21
I don’t own this set, but I did use to own the lipstick in this set and I really liked it! It’s a lovely lipstick that gives you the perfect pinky-toned lip. While the tube doesn’t look exciting, there’s something special in the lipstick that causes the formula to react to the temperature of your body and adjusts the color to your skintone. I also love that the lipstick has a very smoothing feel and look to it. The value on this set is amazing, especially with the sale price taking it down even farther. That puts each item at only $10.50 each, which isn’t far from drugstore prices! (And the formula of these products are FAR from drugstore!) It’s really beautiful and gives you the perfect pinky pout!
