Sigma E05 Eye Liner Brush // From My VanityMakeup brushes are a personal favorite of mine. My Review

I received this pink mini-size of the Sigma E05 brush when I joined their Pro program earlier this year. It’s the first brush I’ve ever tried from them and since I’m a fanatic when it comes to winging out my eyeliner, I thought it was totally appropriate. 🙂 I’ve been using it for months now and while it is not my favorite brush to do my wings, it is a great, well-made brush.

Sigma E05 Eye Liner Brush // Close Up // From My VanityThe brush itself is shorter than the size of the normal E05 brush that you would receive when purchasing this brush from them — it would be the normal, typical size of all Sigma brushes. I love the iridescent design of the lettering on this brush, it’s beautiful. 🙂 The tip of the brush tapers to a very fine point. Not as fine as my all-time favorite 706 Bdellium Tools brush, but it does taper off to a nice point.

Sigma E05 Eye Liner Brush // Brush Tip // From My VanityThe brush is somewhat ‘fat’ for a liner brush, in my opinion, but I was actually surprised to discover that it’s pretty easy to get a nice, pointed wing. In the swatch samples below, I just used Rimmel’s Scandal Eyes Waterproof Gel Eyeliner to show you the difference in the line that you can get with this brush.

Sigma E05 Eye Liner Brush // Swatches // From My VanityAs you can see you can achieve a pretty fine and tapered line, or very fat and bold. It takes a bit more care and concentration to keep the line very fine, as you would imagine, but still totally possible.

I’ve washed this brush multiple times, after each use, and have never noticed any shedding or loosening of the bristles. Everything is still as tight and pointy as the day I received it. The only con I can see with this brush is the price. At $14, it’s definitely not cheap….but it’s still more affordable than other high-end brushes, I suppose. It just all depends on how much you are comfortable with spending.

As I said, this is only my first brush from Sigma Beauty, but it definitely won’t be my last! How about you? What’s your favorite Sigma Beauty brush? Give me recommendations! 🙂

Ohh, which numbers are they? I just bought the E06 (I think it is) and it’s so tiny and thin! I can’t wait to use it to do a winged liner. I think it will be AMAZING for getting that thin, elongated wing! 😀

I absolutely LOVE Sigma makeup brushes! I actually received this liner brush as a gift with purchase when I got my brush set. This is such a precise and great quality liner brush – plus, I love that it is pink!

I was the same way, up until I received this little brush. And even then, I didn’t jump to order. I got this brush months ago, and I actually JUST placed my first order with Sigma. We’ll see how I like them! 😀

This sounds like amazing eye liner brush with a good quality. I personally don’t have any experience with their brushes…

So far, I’m liking the brand. There hasn’t been any shedding (though it IS a small brush, so harder to notice shedding, lol) and I’ve washed it multiple times without any problems.
