I’m sneaking in BoxyCharm‘s March box right here at the end of the month. I had wanted to get this up a lot earlier, but things happen.
If you want to see all the products I received in my latest box, just keep reading!
What’s Inside BoxyCharm‘s March Box
They used the typical boxes, which I was thrilled to see. If you don’t remember, last month they sent it in a very different box and, honestly, I was pretty disappointed. So I’m glad to see that looked like a one-time deal.
Of course the box was all about St. Patrick’s day! ๐
Here’s a quick snapshot of all the products. Let’s take a look at each of the products, shall we?
The first thing I reached for was this bottle wrapped in a couple layers of bubble wrap. It’s called Previse Nutrify Skin Type 1-6 Universal Tonic. I was really excited to get this and plan to start using it regularly in the coming months.
They’ve included several OFRA products in the past, one was also a eye liner, so I was kind of disappointed to see yet another eyeliner in the box. At least it was a different color than the last, but I found the last eyeliner I got to be really dry.
The swatch looks very pigmented, though, so maybe I’ll try heating it up before I use it so it goes on easier. And, hey, you can always use more eyeliners!
Who doesn’t love nail polish, right? And this LVX nail polish color is totally on point when it comes to spring colors. ๐ I already gave myself a quick manicure with this polish and while it wasn’t as opaque as I prefer (2 coats was still a bit streaky), the color is gorgeous!
Next product I pulled out of the box was tarte’s LipSurgence lip tint in ‘Charmed’. A girl can always use a new lipstick and I hear great things about this product. Unfortunately, the color isn’t one that I would typically wear, so I think I’m going to pass this one on to my younger sisters to wear.
I wasn’t able to do a lip swatch. I’ve had a cold sore for the past week and have been giving my lips a break to try to heal it all up once and for all. Cold sores are NOT fun!
The last product in the box was this Oscar Blandi Hair Lift, which is a thickening and strengthening mousse. It’s a pretty decent travel size, which was nice, but this product isn’t something that I’ll be able to use. Once again, because it’s not a product I can use — I have thick hair — I’ll pass this along to my mom and let her use it.
So, there you go, those are all the products I received in my March BoxyCharm box. Are you subscribed to receive BoxyCharm’s boxes?
The Value of BoxyCharm‘s March Box
As always, I like to do the math to show you the value you get from paying $21 a month. ๐
Oscar Blandi Hair Products – Travel Size – $11
OFRA Eyeliner – Full Size – $13
LVX Nail Lacquer – Full Size – $16
tarte LipSurgence lip tint – Full Size – $24
Previse Nutrifying Skin Tonic – Full Size – $48
TOTAL = $112
Getting over $100 worth of products for only $21 is a pretty good deal, in my opinion. I’ll be honest and say that I wasn’t too excited about this box, because there were several products I just can’t use. But the products you can’t use could either be resold on a Facebook Makeup Selling group or gifted to family or friends!
What do you think of this box? Would you have liked to get this box? I’m curious to hear what your reaction to this box would’ve been! ๐
I received the products mentioned above from BoxyCharm in the hopes that I would mention them on my blog. Regardless, this does not guarantee a review or feature on my blog. I only share information that I think will be useful for my readers and I only recommend products I have personally used.
