With Christmas only days away, I’m sharing a eyeshadow look with you that is perfect for any holiday parties you have planned. ๐ Thanks for checking it out, gals!
Easy, Pink 3D Liquid Lustre Eyeshadow Tutorial
Step 1: Prime
I always start with a eyeshadow primer. If you have oily lids, then I definitely recommend you start using one. It will help your eye looks last an entire day without fading at all. It also helps to intensify shadows. I recommend LORAC’s Behind the Scenes Eyeshadow Primer.
Step 2: Warm the Crease
First thing I always like to start with is warming up my crease. I used my LORAC Mega Pro palette and in the color Sepia. But you can use whatever color is a few shades darker than your natural skintone.
Step 3: Darken Outer Corner
I used a bit of Espresso from the palette but, again, you can use whatever dark brown shadow you have on hand.
Step 4: Blend
This is a really important step for me. I like my eyeshadow looks to appear as seamless as possible, so I like to spend a good amount of time blending the colors. Especially darker ones.
Step 5: Apply Liquid Lustre
Make sure you give the Lorac liquid lustre a good shake before squeezing the dropper and dispensing a few drops onto the back of your hand.
Because of the consistency, I found the easiest way to apply this was with my finger and I just dabbed it onto the center of my eyelid, working toward my inner corner. I wish the camera could’ve captured just how brilliantly sparkly this product is….but just know what you see in the pictures, it’s 100 times more beautiful in person. ๐
Step 6: Apply Eyeliner
Now all that’s left is the finishing touches. ๐ You can just apply eyeliner against your lashes, or you can wing it out like I did. Whichever way, the results will be beautiful. ๐
Step 7: Apply Liner to Waterline
We can’t forget about the low lash line. What I like to do is apply a really pigmented black liner to your waterline. Here I am using Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero. Rimmel also sells a really pigmented black liner that is more affordable.
Step 8: Smudge Lower Lash Line
I took the same shade I used in my outer corner, Espresso, to smudge out the black liner that I just applied. It gives the lower lash line a beautiful, smokey look.
Step 9: Apply Mascara
This step is pretty self-expanitory. In this tutorial I used Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. I receive a deluxe sample a few months ago, and have been really enjoying the results I get from it.
That’s really all there is to this eye look. The 3D Liquid Lustre does all the work for you. ๐ And remember, the camera doesn’t do this amazing product justice. If you have any doubts, go to your local Ulta and swatch it on the back of your hand. You’ll be impressed! ๐
And just to show you another color of LORAC’s 3D Liquid Lustres, here’s another eye look I did using the color Amethyst.
Isn’t it beautiful? ๐ These 3D Liquid Lustre can really jazz up any eyelook. And it’s the perfect look for a holiday party. ๐
I don’t believe this specific Royal’s Collection is available at Ulta anymore, but I know they have a few Liquid Lustre’s in their permanent collection.
Or! If you want to try to win one of the 3D Liquid Lustre’s from this collection….I’m giving it away on my Instagram page. Check it out! ๐
Question for My Readers: What’s your favorite type of eyeshadow? Matte? Shimmer? Metallic?
I received one or more of the products mentioned above from Lorac Cosmetics in the hopes that I would mention them on my blog. Regardless, this does not guarantee a review or feature on my blog. I only share information that I think will be useful for my readers and I only recommend products I have personally used and liked.

What a beautiful eye shadow look! I have never had great success with blending my eyeshadow like that, but it always looks so great. I need to practice some more. What kind of eyeliner did you use in step 6/top eyelashes? I have a liquid liner/pen from Cover Girl that I use, but it doesn't show up well if I apply it over eyeshadow. Any suggestions? (stopping by from The Peony Project)

Kristy – In this tutorial I actually used a L'Oreal liner. But I don't recommend it. It dried out too quick. If you're looking for a drugstore liner, I've heard good things about Physician Formula's eye liner. If you want high end, I HIGHLY recommend their Front of the Lines liner. It is AMAZING! And worth every penny!
Simply Sheard – Thanks! I always love to play with eyeshadow looks ๐

great look! do you use liquid or get eyeliner?
KatieMacGarvin22 says
Coline – I hope it was helpful for you!
Talia – I use both liquid and gel, but my favorite would have to be gel. I feel like I get a more clean, intense line with that. ๐
