My Review…
Packaging & Appearance…
I was really excited to get the opportunity to try out the Kitchen Guru’s Glass Top Kitchen Food Scale. When I first pulled it out of the box, I really liked the edgy, sleek design that makes it both nice to display on the counter and easy to store in the cabinets — whichever you want to do. I received the black one and love the appearance of it! It’s really thin and compact, and the digits on the screen are a good size so that you can easily see them.
Ease of Use…
It was pretty easy to figure out — there aren’t any buttons you can press, so it’s all touch/heat-sensitive, I guess. It has two buttons to tap on either side of the digital screen. One says “zero” and has the power sign and the other says “units”. I like that you can easily switch between seeing it in ‘ml’, ‘g’, ‘oz’, ‘lb&oz’. I really like everything about this scale and know I will be getting very good use out of it in the near future. ๐
Any Likes & Dislikes…
There is honestly nothing about this scale that I consider a ‘dislike’. The price is normally $35, but right now it’s on sale for only $25. Which is a pretty good price on a high-quality scale that will last you forever! My biggest ‘like’ for this is definitely the design. I LOVE how sleek and smooth it is!
Final Thoughts…
I love it! It works well, I can easily see the digits, it’s thin and easy to store! All around, an awesome product and definitely worth the price you pay. I would highly recommend that you check this product out on Amazon. If you are in need of a scale, The Kitchen Guru’s Glass Top Kitchen Food Scale is the one to go to! ๐

Sifa – Yeah, I am totally loving the look of it! And you always need some kind of scale when cooking — especially for meat and such (at least for me :-). I love it!

Hello Katie,
I love your post about food scale. By the way, I bought my new scale which is Procizion Digital Kitchen Food Scale @ http://www.amazon.com/Procizion-Digital-Kitchen-Food-Scale/dp/B00GMMTT5C/ and I love it already the first time I laid my eyes on it. I just have a question though, is this the same to the scale you mentioned here? And if so, how can I track down my weight and daily consumables? I love to hear from you soon. And I also tried the scale I bough it's has the same description like yours though I want to know more about the pros and cons of this. Thanks.
Katie McCurdy says
Josie – I just checked out your kitchen food scale. No, I don't think they are the same ones. They look very similar, but mine is more square whereas yours looks rectangular. And they have different name brands on them.
I personally just use mine to weight the food I am cooking with. I was not aware there was a way to keep track of how much you are eating each day. But maybe yours does — I would look at the instruction manual that came with the scale to see if it goes into further details on that.
Hope this helped ๐
